Internal Graffiti

Last Sip

I'm sorry you had to see me like this
but it was pretty much my destiny;
sitting here against this wall;
no future in front of me

Life just got too stressful
and I didn't know what else to do.
I needed something to help me sleep;
something to get me through

It really killed me to lie, you know
and keep it all bottled up
but by the time i saw this comming
it was too late to try to stop

I may never chase my dreams again
and I  know what you must think;
if I could just go back in time
I would've stopped after the first drink.
