Absent Minded

Hypothetically speaking

Hypothetically speaking.....

Let's pretend you're a parent
Or might day become one
And let's say
One day you had a son
And your son grew to be smart
Loving
Brave
And stood for what he believed
Now let's say he was murdered
Horribly betrayed
Horribly tortured
Brutally beaten
Slaughtered like an animal
And one day you come face to face
With his murderer
Everyone who is to blame.

But wait….
There's more….

Let's say this makes the news
And the reporters carry the story on
For weeks
Months
Years
The same footage
Over and over and over again
And you are continually interviewed
About the death of your son.
How would you feel?

BUT WAIT!!!!
There's more….

Someone writes a book about it
Makes money off of it
It becomes a supposed life lesson
It becomes a church
And people rub this tragedy in your face
With their crime scene reminders
Dangling from their necks,
And then have the audacity to ask YOU
You the ALMIGHTY PARENT
Why you allowed it to happen.
So whose to blame now?
How would you feel?

Now let's things get worse

Not only are you grieving and blamed throughout history
Not only is it a book and a church
But a controversy now!
An opinion
A propaganda to control
A reason to kill each other
Some other reason to die and go to war for righteous excuse
Some other idiotic method to the madness of why we Fu** each other over

THIS is where I draw the line

I have my limits
I have my anger and confusions too
I have my own reasons of who I am
And I suffer far more than any of you
And you don't think I can relate to you
HA!

Com crawl off your own cross
Put your voodoo script away
Quit trying to blame me
For your sh**
And don't pray to me
With a reminder
Of a crime scene
To treat me like a genie
Who you warship with the picture
Of his DEAD BABY
Come off your privileged cloud
Of how you think the world is going to end
I promise to surprise you
Make it painful
Harmful
Brutal
Inspiring
And a punishment for everything that you did

All the way back to the lie of the apple
