Absent Minded

Onomatopea

I slammed the door
Bang
i could hear the ocean
Roar
the bees buzzed
by the tulips which were hushed
shhhh
shhhhh
shhhhhhhhhh

the waves echoed in the distance
as i walked away and my footsteps clicked on the pavement
i snap my fingers trying to wake up from this dream
click clicl click
snap
click click click click
snap snap

shhhhhhhhhh
shhhhh
shh

someone told the tulips
and i heard the pop from the log on the fire
i clap my hands wishing for a new sound
and my ears start ringing
what could all this be
i'm falling
falling
crash

landing in the garden
by the ocean
shhhhhhhhh
shhhh
shhh
amongst the tulips
i can see the fire in the distance
i must go join the dance now
and tap my feet
the log pops
the spark sizzles
i walk away
click click
click click
click click
my footsteps echoed
shhhh shhhh shhhh
i hushed the tulips
and the ocean is fast asleep

The clock tocks
time is ticking away
soon enough it will dong
and i know the booming in the distance
is like a whistle of steam in the wind
the train is near
and like slamming a door
your heart thuds
its hard to look away from this trainwreck nightmare
beautifull dream
of stars vibrating in the sky
as they hummmmm
a new tune in the twilight
finding my souls revenge gasping in awe
i sigh
awake to the clanging of pots and pans in the kitchen
and start wondering about the art of such storms
and violent roses with thorns that i may or may not be
